About This Bike

This matching-numbers 1969 Triumph Trident T150 was an original UK-market motorcycle, manufactured in April 1969. It spent roughly its first 30 years in the UK before the second owner brought it to New Zealand in 1999, where it then remained unused and unregistered for around two decades.

Angloclassics recommissioned and refurbished the bike over approximately nine months before putting it through New Zealand compliance. The work was a refurbishment rather than a full restoration, with an emphasis on retaining the character of the early T150 while making it usable again.

The top end was overhauled with +.020-inch pistons, new rings, valves and guides, and the cylinders were rebored. The carburettors and gantry were also overhauled. It was refinished in the original Aquamarine colour and retained the distinctive 1969 breadbox-style tank.

Receipts dating back around 40 years were supplied with the motorcycle.
