Good information makes a better valuation

Include the make, model, year, engine and frame numbers where available, registration status, known history, current mechanical condition and details of any restoration or recommissioning work.

Photographs should show both sides of the bike, front and rear, engine, frame numbers, instruments, wheels, paintwork and any damage, missing parts or non-standard components.

THE REPORT

What the written valuation includes

The report includes an estimated current market value, a description of the motorcycle, condition notes and supporting comments about the main factors affecting its value.

Relevant points about originality, demand, registration, presentation and work required are included where they materially affect the assessment.

An in-person inspection may be recommended for an unusual, particularly valuable or poorly documented motorcycle. Any inspection requirements and additional cost are discussed before proceeding.
