CLASSIC BRITISH MOTORCYCLES | AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND
Angloclassics is built around Triumph, Norton and BSA motorcycles from the 1960s and 1970s.
The work now covers completed motorcycles, workshop jobs, selected parts, apparel, free manuals, valuations and help with selling classic British bikes.
WHAT ANGLOCLASSICS DOES
Angloclassics started with the motorcycles themselves. The workshop, parts range, manuals and apparel all grew from the same place, and each remains connected to the bikes rather than operating as a separate business.
THE MOTORCYCLES
Motorcycles are recommissioned, rebuilt or completed through Angloclassics and offered for sale when finished. Some stay close to standard, while others are finished as practical riders.
The bikes listed for sale may be Angloclassics projects, completed motorcycles or selected customer bikes being sold on behalf.
Angloclassics still occasionally sources motorcycles from overseas or takes on local projects when the right bike turns up. These may be completed, recommissioned or sold as projects depending on their condition.
THE WORKSHOP
Workshop work ranges from fault-finding and smaller repairs through to full recommissions, engine and gearbox work, unfinished projects and selected restoration work.
Most jobs involve British twins and triples from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one is considered according to the motorcycle, the work required and current workshop capacity.
BEYOND THE WORKSHOP
The parts range is kept focused rather than trying to stock everything. It includes Angloclassics oil pressure gauge kits, selected Norton seats and covers, workshop tools and other useful parts for classic British motorcycles.
A growing range of shirts and other Angloclassics items based around classic British motorcycles, workshop life and the familiar problems that come with owning them.
The manual library provides free PDF factory workshop manuals and parts books for a wide range of Triumph, Norton and BSA motorcycles.
VALUATIONS AND SALES
Written valuations are available for individual classic British motorcycles and larger collections. These can be used for insurance, estates, family decisions or planning a sale.
Selected classic British motorcycles can be sold through Angloclassics. The service can include assessing and preparing the bike, photography, advertising, handling enquiries and arranging the sale.
BASED IN AUCKLAND
Angloclassics works mainly with British motorcycles from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly twins and triples. Workshop visits, motorcycle inspections and drop-offs are by appointment.
