This 1974 Norton Commando 850 Interstate was imported from the USA after spending around 30 years off the road. It was a one-owner bike from Louisiana with a recorded 7,900 miles and matching engine, frame and gearbox numbers.
Angloclassics refurbished the motorcycle from a neglected state, replacing or overhauling the parts needed to return it to regular road use. The bike was fully rewired with a cloth-type Lucas harness and ran a single Mikuni carburettor with Pazon electronic ignition.
The original Interstate exhaust pipes were retained, paired with peashooter silencers rather than the standard Interstate type.
Receipts for the parts and work were supplied with the bike.
Our Norton Commando guide covers model differences, production dates, engine and frame numbers, previous bikes and factory manuals.
