This 1975 Norton Commando 850 MkIII Roadster was imported from the USA and retained its matching numbers. First registered in 1976, it had already received a number of useful upgrades before being refurbished by Angloclassics.
Rather than being restored to factory specification, this bike was kept as a well-sorted rider. It featured a Colorado Norton Works hydraulic clutch and electric-start upgrade, a Brembo front brake conversion, negative-earth electrics and a single Mikuni VM34 carburettor.
The fuel tank and side covers received fresh paint with painted pinstriping and graphics. A new exhaust system was also fitted using RGM straight-through silencers.
Receipts were supplied with the bike. This was a refurbishment rather than a full restoration.
Our Norton Commando guide covers model differences, production dates, engine and frame numbers, previous bikes and factory manuals.
