Imported into New Zealand around thirteen years ago from the USA, this matching numbers 1973 Norton Commando 850 has just been through a full going over after spending the last five years parked in a garage.
The bike has had a full refurbishment which included all oils being changed. The front brake has been completely overhauled and a good list has been made of the work carried out. The engine is in very good condition with great compression and has a Boyer Electronic Ignition. The gearbox is strong and goes through the gears very well. It has a Podtronics regulator/rectifier so no worries about the charging system.
The pipes on this bike sound awesome! The have a very cool Norton Commando cackle to them.
It has now been fully re-vinned after the previous certification lapsed.
