1971 Norton Commando 750 Project

This 1971 Norton Commando Roadster is offered as a project bike as part of the Angloclassics Kickstart Collection. It presents as a largely complete project (approx 90% parts are there) and a solid starting point for someone looking to finish a classic Commando build. 

The frame has already been sandblasted, primed and painted. The front end has new fork seals, fresh fork oil, and new steering head bearings. A number of new parts have been fitted including stainless front and rear guards, Z plates with footrests, brake pedal, gear lever, kickstart with rubbers, new rear shocks, and Mk3 isolastics. Spare rims fitted with brand new tyres are also included, along with new mufflers. There are also many additional new parts included with the project.

The engine is currently dismantled and awaiting rebuild, however the parts appear to be largely complete. The bike is a non matching engine/gearbox example but it has a blank frame label. The seat and headlight are not included. Most of the parts are in 4-5 boxes.

This is an NZ new motorcycle but it has been out of the registration system for many years. Once completed it will require VIN and compliance before returning to the road.
