This New Zealand-new 1971 Norton Commando 750 Roadster had matching numbers and had been off the road for around 30 years before being partially restored. Angloclassics then refurbished the bike closer to original specification while retaining the later 1972 disc-brake front end.
The engine had been overhauled and the bike was completely rewired using a new cloth-type Lucas harness. It ran Boyer MkIV electronic ignition and Wassell Evolution carburettors, with a number of reliability-focused upgrades added during the refurbishment.
An ignition-interlocked anti-wet-sump valve was fitted so the bike could not be started with the oil supply closed. The tank and side covers were replaced and refinished in the later-style scheme, while the later grab rail was retained.
Receipts for the work were supplied with the bike.
