This March 1969 Norton Commando 750 Fastback was imported from the USA as a two-owner, matching-numbers motorcycle. The original owner kept it until 2019 and the recorded mileage was just 5,800 miles.
The bike was refurbished by Angloclassics with the aim of retaining as much originality as practical rather than carrying out a full nut-and-bolt restoration. It was repainted in the rare Fireflake Red and Silver scheme and displayed at the 2023 NZ Motorcycle Show.
At the time of sale it ran cleanly, showed 150 psi compression on both cylinders, and retained its original fibreglass fuel tank, which had been sealed. A copy of the original factory dispatch record was also supplied with the bike.
Receipts for the parts and work were supplied with the bike.
Our Norton Commando guide covers model differences, production dates, engine and frame numbers, previous bikes and factory manuals.
