Matching Numbers: Yes
Miles: 7500
ETA: Late 2025
This rare matching-numbers Hurricane was originally imported into New Zealand in a chopper configuration, but has now been carefully restored to its original factory style. Designed by the legendary Craig Vetter, the X75 was Triumph’s bold response to the American market — combining the proven 750cc triple engine with radical styling, a sweeping three-into-three exhaust, and the now-iconic flared fibreglass bodywork.
This particular bike had been sitting idle in a barn since 1985 and required a full recommissioning to bring it back to life. Every mechanical system has been inspected, rebuilt or replaced as needed, with an emphasis on preserving the unique character of the model. With matching engine and frame numbers, this Hurricane stands as a true survivor — a rare and important piece of Triumph’s history, ready to be ridden and enjoyed once again.
