This rare matching-numbers Hurricane was originally imported into New Zealand in a chopper configuration, but has now been carefully restored to its original factory style. Designed by the legendary Craig Vetter, the X75 was Triumph’s bold response to the American market — combining the proven 750cc triple engine with radical styling, a sweeping three-into-three exhaust, and the now-iconic flared fibreglass bodywork.
This particular bike had been sitting idle in a barn since 1985 and required a full recommissioning to bring it back to life. Every mechanical system has been inspected, rebuilt or replaced as needed, with an emphasis on preserving the unique character of the model.
