Old Bikes. New Life.
Angloclassics is about keeping old British bikes on the road where they belong. No gimmicks, no hype — just solid work and a respect for the machines. Started by Nick Wright, a lifelong British bike enthusiast, Angloclassics began in 2014 with importing classics into New Zealand. After years of hands-on work and a growing collection of projects, the name became official in 2022.
Most of what comes through here are the bikes we all know — Triumphs, Nortons, BSAs — the ones that got us hooked in the first place. Some get a quick recommission and keep their patina, others are stripped to the frame and rebuilt. The aim’s the same either way: make them run right, look right, and stay true to their roots.
It’s still a small outfit, keeping the standard high and the approach honest. Angloclassics isn’t a dealership or a production line — every bike gets the attention it needs, not the fastest or cheapest job possible.
Alongside the bikes, there are a few extras online — T-shirts, parts, and the odd project. Sometimes a repair is taken on for a fellow enthusiast, or a bike is sold on their behalf. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing properly.
Based in New Zealand, the Angloclassics community stretches far wider. Whether you’re chasing parts for a café build, recommissioning a barn find, or just love the sound of an old twin on song, you’re in good company here.
